Spanworks was started in 2001 by Sharon Marek. With more than ten years of experience in website design, I am well qualified to bring your enterprise to the web.
Specific experience includes working as the principle Information Architect during four iterations of a major University website, dozens of design projects for colleges, departments, and organizations within that university community, and corporate websites ranging from an independently owned motel to a company that sells printing equipment. Smaller projects include a non-profit's first website, a family website, and a local book club.
A masters degree in Library and Information Science gave me a real grounding in the principles of information. The skills I've acquired in information evaluation, organization, access and dissemination have been useful in every phase of website design.
